Frisbie Memorial Hospital launches neurospine surgery

Foster's Daily Democrat

ROCHESTER — Frisbie Memorial Hospital now offers spine procedures for patients, expanding healthcare options and improving patient outcomes on the Seacoast. Carlos Palacio, MD, and Ken Maynard III, MD, are leading the surgeries at Advanced Spine & Orthopedics at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Palacio and Maynard are both members of Coastal New Hampshire Neurosurgeons.

“We’re continuing to build a corridor of care between our two Seacoast hospitals – Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Frisbie Memorial Hospital – and the next step in that process was to bring neurospine surgery to Frisbie,” said Dean M. Carucci, market president of HCA New England Healthcare. “Both Drs. Palacio and Maynard are exceptional surgeons, and having such compassionate and talented neurosurgeons right here in the Greater Rochester community will no doubt be of great benefit to our Frisbie patients.”
