Happy Easter Seacoast! This weekend is hopping with fun things for all. See säje at Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club, laugh at The Players' Ring with (Good) Friday Night Improv, take the kids on one of the many Easter eggs hunts being offered or learn traditional Asante drumming with Kotoko Brass at The Dance Hall.

säje at Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club

The group säje will perform at Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club on Friday, March 29, 2024. They are Sara Gazarek, Amanda Taylor, Johnaye Kendrick and Erin Bentlage.

What: “Säje is blazing a new trail for female composers and performers in the jazz world,” according to Forbes on the women known as a vocal supergroup. They are Sara Gazarek, Amanda Taylor, Johnaye Kendrick and Erin Bentlage.

What: Stranger Than Fiction returns perform improv scenes and games, similar to the hit show “Whose Line is it Anyway." Your participation will turn into hilarious scenes.

Kotoko Brass will offer a master class in traditional Asante drumming, dancing, singing, melodies, and culture at the Dance Hall on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

What: Kotoko Brass will offer a master class in traditional Asante drumming, dancing, singing, melodies, and culture. Through learning Asante rhythms from Ghanaian master drummers Attah Poku and Kwame Ofori, participants will connect. All ages, all abilities.
